Space… the final frontier. A place seen as void of life yet it holds a certain mood of curiosity. It has stirred many to advance the sciences for possible exploration and discovery.
And today we’re celebrating National Space Day, on May 2nd. This day, originally created by Lockheed Martin as Space Day, was meant to encourage students to think about a career in the aerospace industry. Later, John Glenn, a former astronaut and U.S. senator, changed the name to National Space Day.
We’ll be playing tracks from video games that explore or take place in space: a war between three different species, a group of Kerbals eager to leave their planet’s gravity, and passengers of an interstellar railway. There’ll also be covers to follow.
So, prepare to leave the confine’s of Earth’s gravity and explore the unknown stars of the galaxy.
