What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you feel a cold or a fever coming on? Okay, other than bed rest, it’s the medicine. Whether it’s a handful of pills or some liquid measured in a cup or spoon, you take it by the milligram or ounce in the hopes that this concoction will help subside your symptoms or allow your body to heal without issue. If it’s been prescribed or suggested by a doctor, everyone has been referred to a pharmacist, a person who helps stock, distribute, and educate about these medications for the public. They also make sure that the dosages are correct and the interactions are minimal or avoided.

This week, we’re celebrating National Pharmacist Day, on January 12th, with tracks from video games about medicine: a doctor dispensing virus-killing pills, an eager student trying to help her close friend, and a witch learning to create potions to pay off a debt. We’ll also hear some remixes and arrangements of these tracks, including one that is from a direct remake.

Hope you enjoy these tracks, and be sure to take your medication in a timely manner…
