While Christmas may be over and the new year is about to commence, most people are home for the holidays: students going on Winter Break after a week of finals, workers who waited until the end of the year to use their vacation time, and companies shutting down production for the end of the year. It’s time to settle in with family and friends or enjoy some introspective days to yourself.

This week’s episode, and the last episode for 2023, will feature tracks from video games that have some sense of home: a mother’s home in the town of Onett, a village home threatened by a freeze, and a town that is home to the Sacred Flame. We’ll also hear some covers of these tracks.

Enjoy these tracks and their covers while nestled in your home of residence, of people with shared interests, and of your identity and purpose.
